Black-eyed Peas and Ham

Ingredients:
· 1 (16 ounce) package dried black-eyed peas, rinsed
· ½ pound fully cooked boneless ham, chopped
· 1 medium onion, finely chopped
· 5 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled
· 2 tablespoons minced garlic
· 1 teaspoon chicken bouillon granules
· Salt and pepper, to taste
· 6 cups water
· Hot cooked rice

Directions:
1. In a 6-quart slow cooker, combine all ingredients, except rice. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or until peas are tender.
2. Serve with rice.
